Membership Meeting on Wednesday 9/9/09 [Free Pizza!]‏

Update (9/10): Here are the slides from the presentation. Click here to download.

Systems Engineering Chapter (SEC) is a club designed to create awareness and educate UCF about the systems engineering profession and its principles. We are a UCF registered student organization and an official student division of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), the largest professional organization in the industry. Our student chapter will be conducting activities specifically geared toward students, but each member of SEC may enjoy the same benefits as a professional INCOSE member. These include attending local INCOSE Orlando chapter meetings and tutorials while networking with industry leaders currently in the field.  Other benefits of SEC and INCOSE membership are listed on our website.

On Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00pm, we will be hosting a special membership meeting to introduce new members to what systems engineering is and how SEC plans to support it this semester. The meeting will be held in the systems engineering computer lab on campus in Engineering II, Room 311. If you are interested in joining SEC or have any questions about our organization or the systems engineering profession, you are welcome to attend for a short presentation and free pizza. You can also access our newsletter and membership application on our website. Please fill out the application and return it with the required membership fee of $20 at the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, we will also be at the CECS Fall Club Showcase in the Engineering II atrium on September 9th from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Hope to see you there,
